The Black McGill is a soft, black date with smooth and moist skin. It has a sweet and rich flavor with light hints of butter, reminiscent of licorice. As tasty as it is healthy!

This was my second order of Black
McGills and they don’t seem to be
very fresh—hard and not moist
at all.

tasty dates!
Delighted to discover these tasty, not overly sweet, slightly chewy dates. Similar to Laflins but with a hint of licorice. Perfect when I want something slightly sweeter that my usual Thoorys and Kways.

Several years ago when my late husband
and I used to RV to the low desert we
would always stop at Oasis Date Gardens
for a date shake, lunch, and Black McGills.
They weren’t always available but when
they were, we always bought some. They’re
the best!
