I am very fond of the flavor of these Thoory dates and really like their chewy texture. They are one of my favorite snacks to enjoy while reading a book, watching TV or just relaxing. They are just terrific!

The best Thoory dates
These are my favorite dry dates. I have ordered them from Shields Date Gardens in Indio, Dateland in Arizona and through Oasis Date Gardens. These are always the best tasting! Not too dry but also not too soft.

These dates were just right. Not too sweet and not mushy. Exactly what I wanted in a dry date! These are the kind of dates that sustained Arabs on long journeys with Lawrence in WW1 with nothing else to eat.

Not so dry
I was hoping to get dried dates with crunchy texture. Came in a bit moist and a good 25% of the dates have peeling skin. Taste is great and as expected. I tried to dehydrate a handful and that helped getting the texture I expected.
I highly recommend it for those who are looking for dry dates.
